Please ask the provider to use ACH or other electronic transfer, rather than a paper check—it's faster, more secure, and more efficient for USENIX's small team to manage.

Since many institutions do not provide the donor's name to the recipient organization, you can contact our donor engagement manager, Simone Burden, to let us know about your gift, or if you have any questions. The DAF provider is responsible for your tax receipt.

IRA Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD)

Give to USENIX from your Individual Retirement Account (IRA) through a Qualified Charitable Distribution. A QCD is a tax-efficient way for those 70½ or older to donate from their IRA. It may count toward your Required Minimum Distribution, effectively lower your adjusted gross income, and bring about important tax benefits.
