If not Cape? Who?
I am trying to understand the best alternative? I like Cape and what they do, the issue is the 30 day over seas thing that keeps getting me.
I’m going to be doing some traveling for work and will be out of country for well over the 30 days?
Trying to avoid Google and similar. GrapheneOS is desired, but currently on iOS.
On my Android Pixel 9 Pro XL, which supports two active SIMs (I have multiple eSIMs), I typically switch networks without issue. However, since installing the Cape eSIM, other active eSIMs lose signal. I've debugged this and found that their APN settings disappear, a problem that didn't occur before Cape. I'm unsure why this is happening. As of now I am doing the below steps to resolve this issue.
The fix is to go to
-
Go to Settings
-
Click on "Network & Internet"
-
Click on SIMs
-
Click on the sim you want to activate
-
Click on "Access Point Names"
-
Click on three dots on right
-
Reset to default
This should bring APN settings back and you should fine.
Is anyone facing the same issue? Is there a better way to fix this?
