The Jockey Club has launched The Jockey Club Brand Update. This is a paid project which will be awarded to the winner which targets designers and design agencies.

the History of Jockey Club

The Jockey Club began in Riyadh during the reign of the founder of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman bin Faisal Al Saud, in 1965 this effort was completed by virtue of a decision from the Ministry of Justice and Social Affairs. A noble royal order was issued by King Faisal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. to establish an official equestrian club.

Qualifying Round

Application deadline: August 22, 2021

Qualifying Round

The logo design is the only focus during this stage. Do not submit any part of the brand guide deliverable. This should be submitted in PDF format within two weeks from start date.

Final Round

Final Round

Qualified designers in this round submit all the logo deliverables, logo tools, and guide files (within one week). Until the winner is announced.

The Prize

The Prize

The prize is 30 thousand Saudi riyals, and the winner will be honored and promoted on social media.

Terms and Conditions

  • The logo should be innovative and in line with the latest Design Concepts.
  • The Logo should include the date, horses, swords, palm and equestrian identity.
  • The logo must not be adopted or quoted from other logos.
  • Contestant can only participate in one design.
  • The logo should match the official papers and external boards, and the description of social communication.
  • Logo file formats must be compatible with all Adobe Applications.
  • All property and intellectual rights to the logo belong to the Jockey Club, and the designer has no right to demand a return of the logo.
  • Submit a document (PDF) containing an overview of the logo and design guidelines.
  • Presenting the design files in one compressed file that contains the logo design files (AI, PSD, INDD),the logo image in high resolution (JPG, PNG),all the fonts included in the logo design.

The Deliverables

  • Logo Files:
    • Adobe Illustrator
    • Vector PDF
    • JPG, PNG
  • Brand Guide files: (each should have all pages of the guide in a single file)
    • A high-res, editable source file of the final design (PSD, AI or INDD).
    • A print-ready PDF file with all the fonts outlined.
    • Brand Kit: Submark, stationary, business cards, Powerpoint template, Social Media, and photography guidelines.
