Diagnóstico de 9 enfermedades, plagas y deficiencias nutricionales del maíz a partir de una foto de hoja. Pipeline completo en PyTorch: datos, Optuna, ensamble, equidad y XAI (LIME/SHAP/Grad-CAM). Modelo desplegado: EfficientNet-Lite0 Int8 de 3.5 MB, macro-F1 0.947, inferencia offline en Android.

Deep learning-based maize leaf disease classification app using image data and a trained Keras model.
This is a Machine Learning based project that is supposed to classify images using Keras library and in return predict the type of disease that the maize leaf is suffering.The project also tries to increase the amount of maize leaf dataset using the contrast augmentation technique.
A prototype leveraging a Vision Transformer (ViT) for high-accuracy maize leaf disease classification. After systematic tuning (86.8% val acc), the final model achieves ~95% test accuracy, delivered via a REST API designed to power a real-time mobile diagnostic tool.
