What is StudioTune?

StudioTune helps people shape a model for the work they want it to do.

Describe a behavior. Try the change. Compare the result. Keep the proof.

It is built for software, agents, devices, research, operations, and other workflows where a general model may not be enough for the job.

Three ways to use StudioTune

Product Purpose Status
StudioTune Desktop Visual workspace for shaping, comparing, and reviewing model behavior Beta release
Tune Agent Guided proposal layer that turns a model goal into a clear path Beta release · proposal-only
StudioTune CLI Local, scriptable interface for repeatable model workflows Beta release
Desktop shows the work.
Tune Agent guides the path.
CLI makes it repeatable.

Why fine-tuning?

A general model is made for everyone. A fine-tuned model can be shaped for a purpose.

Fine-tuning can help with:

  • a specific tone;
  • a reliable format;
  • a repeated task;
  • domain behavior;
  • an agent workflow;
  • a device target.

Not every problem needs fine-tuning. Sometimes prompting, search, tools, or a larger model is the better answer.

Evidence boundary

Tune Agent suggests. The Engine runs the work. The human decides.

A completed workflow is not automatically proof of model improvement. If evidence is incomplete, the result stays HOLD, REVISE, or REJECT.

Current claim ceiling

  • StudioTune is in beta release.
  • The beta includes evidence-gated capabilities.
  • Real model improvement is not claimed without direct evidence.
  • Production readiness is not claimed.
  • Customer, revenue, benchmark, and superiority claims are not made here.
  • Public repositories may describe mechanics and product direction; they do not by themselves prove model quality or production readiness.
