The Mybatis 'ibatis-spring' module is a copy from spring 3.2.x in order to allow users using ibatis to freely upgrade to spring4+ without having a hard dependency on upgrading ibatis in the process. This is known working any 5.x up until latest 7.x as of 6/6/2026.
- Versions prior to 1.3.0 require java 8 and are for spring up to 5.
- Version 1.3.0 is for spring 5 specifically but modernized so it works up through spring 7 and requires java 11.
- Version 1.4.0 is for spring 6+ as it requires java 17.
