You can now use Claude Design in any conversation with Claude, including in Claude Code and the Artifacts tab, with Claude Tag coming soon. All of its features, including on-canvas editing, come with it.

Bring in one or several design systems from a GitHub repo, design files, or raw uploads. Claude builds with your components, checks its output against your design system, and makes corrections before you see it. For larger teams, an admin role can approve one standard system and lock down edits, so the work always matches your company guidelines.

From your Claude Code session on desktop or from the terminal, ask Claude to turn your idea into a design, or use /design to create, edit, and sync design projects.
The new, integrated Claude Design has a revamped Design Systems feature, which you can manage in Settings > Design Systems. To bring an existing design system over, open the Design tab at the bottom of the sidebar and click Migrate team design systems in the banner. Each design system becomes an artifact Claude can use in any conversation, including in Claude Code. Migrated systems aren't perfect, so each one shows a banner: click Let Claude clean it up and Claude tidies the guide, the tokens and the components. You can create a design system using Claude Code, which works best for organizations with existing React design systems, or in any conversation with Claude, which works best for brand design systems with fonts, colors and brand guidelines. Claude Design is included in all paid plans. Admins must turn it on in Organization settings.
Artifacts, including work made with Claude Design, Claude Slides and Claude Docs, count toward your plan's usage limits, like the rest of your work with Claude. Larger requests, like a full deck or design, use more of your limit than a typical message. See the Help Center for current details.
